Reflecting on Essay #1 Feedback

1. What surprised me the most about your comments were that  I thought that I had made sense in all the paragraphs as i was writing them but then when I got your feedback and I read the comments and  I figured out that I wasn't making sense on the 3 paragraph because I was contradicting myself with two points that I made weren't clear enough.
2. The comment I found most helpful was the one where you said the my thesis was good and that my paragraphs matched with my thesis but that my topic sentences from my body paragraphs need to match up with my thesis points.
3. The comments I didn't find helpful were where you said that I don't need to put quotes that reflect on what I already said. I thought we had to put quotes and explain them, I thought that's what I was doing but then I figured I wasn't by the comments that you put on my paper.
4. I think that I need to improve on my body paragraphs. For me starting the introduction is easy based on the writing rubrics that you have us. I need to make my body paragraphs clear and make them make sense so they can relate to the thesis. For example, in this essay my paragraphs did relate to my thesis but  my main topic sentence of the body paragraphs weren't to strong to catch the readers attention.
5. Based upon my effort I think I deserve the grade you gave me which was a (B) because I felt that I did good on my support this time for the essay. I worked a lot of hours writing an outline and rough draft for this essay so it can meet the requirements for so I can get a grade higher than a C.
6. In order to get a grade better than C for the upcoming essay I will ensure to make an outline so I can start my rough draft and that way my final essay will have a lot of practice and revision before its actually written.
